The Story Behind

Founded in 1976 as the state-run "Turban Bodrum Marina" for 125 yachts, it was privatized in 1997, acquired by Doğan Holding and fully renovated in 1999, growing to today's 425 sea berths.

The marina is woven into Bodrum's life — the restaurants, market and nightlife of the old town run right up to the quay.

Best Time to Visit

Bodrum summers run on the meltemi, strongest in the afternoon; July–August are busiest, spring and autumn calmer for wind and town alike.
