Netsel Marmaris Marina
Introduction
Netsel Marmaris is the urban marina at the heart of Marmaris — a large, year-round harbour a two-minute walk from the town centre and the old castle quarter.
What You'll Feel
You berth almost inside the town: the bazaar, bars and waterfront are a step off the pontoon, and the Castle of Marmaris watches over a bay that has sheltered sailors since medieval times.
What Makes It Unique
Few marinas put you this close to a working town and its history while still offering full superyacht services — it is a base as much as a stopover, busy with everything from modest yachts to some of the world's largest.
The Story Behind
The marina was built around 1992 and quickly became one of the region's prime yachting hubs; today it is operated within the Setur Marinas network.
Local Life
Life here is the town's life — Marmaris's restaurants, market and nightlife run right up to the quay, and the marina stays lively through the whole year.
Best Time to Visit
Marmaris Bay is well enclosed; summers bring the meltemi and the crowds of July–August, while spring and autumn are calmer for both wind and town.
