The Story Behind

The site was the Arsenal shipyard and later a Yugoslav naval base; in 2007 a group of investors led by Canadian magnate Peter Munk bought the land and transformed it into a luxury superyacht marina and waterfront town.

Local Life

The marina is a destination in itself — a yacht club with a 64-metre infinity pool, a sailing school, shops and restaurants — with the medieval town of Kotor a short drive around the bay.

Best Time to Visit

The Bay of Kotor is deeply sheltered and the season runs late spring to early autumn; high summer is busiest and warmest.
