Anchor alarm drains my battery

The alarm uses background GPS — this is required for it to wake you if the anchor drags. Keep your phone plugged in overnight when anchored. You can disable background location in Settings → Privacy → Location, but the alarm won't fire when the app is backgrounded.

Why does COVARA need "Always" location permission?

Only for the anchor drag alarm — so it can monitor your boat's position while the phone is locked and you're asleep. If the anchor slips, the app wakes your phone with an alarm. Revoke anytime in device settings.

Offline maps

PRO subscribers can download Mediterranean regions for offline use. Free tier caches the last 20 anchor spots you viewed.

Cancel subscription

Manage subscriptions via App Store → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → COVARA.

Delete my account

Open COVARA → Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. All your data is removed within 30 days, per our Privacy Policy.
